Description

Gain first-hand knowledge and professional experience through global experiential opportunities. Learn and work alongside international colleagues in a variety of cultural settings, build your international network of friends, and prepare for today's rapidly changing global society. These six-week, unpaid internships take place each year during the CU Denver downtown campus summer term.

Whether you wish to improve your resume, fulfill educational requirements, or accomplish life-long dreams, internships abroad are an essential component of a student's educational experience and represent a vital link to successful career preparation and personal development. As global market economies become increasingly interdependent, employers are looking to hire new employees who have international experience and who understand multi-cultural environments.

Dublin, the capital of the Republic of Ireland, is known for a myriad of endearing qualities, like its friendly locals, ancient castles, and world class Irish cuisine. Located at the mouth of the famed River Liffey, this 1,000 year old city boasts spacious outdoor parks and gardens where its inhabitants can relax and enjoy “the lungs of the city.” Dublin is also rich in culture, priding itself in its Temple Bar district, traditional pubs, and independent fashion and design shops.

The vibrant city is currently a great value as well, not lacking in quality, affordable accommodation, food and drink, or transportation around the city. Dublin’s numerous activities are often free or of minimal cost as well, including its bustling food markets, colorful festivals, galleries and award-winning architectural spaces.
