Program Description:
The Office of Global Education (OGE) offers $1000 scholarships to CU Denver students pursuing one of our many global education programs, including short-term Global Study programs, semester programs in Berlin and Beijing, and Internship Programs Abroad (IPA). Each year more than 50 students receive this award, enabling them to enjoy a culturally-rich, educational experience outside of the United States. OGE strongly believes in the long-lasting, positive value of education abroad in broadening personal and academic perspectives.

Eligibility
  • Must be a currently enrolled, degree-seeking student at CU Denver | Anschutz
  • Must have a cumulative GPA of a 3.0 at the time of application
  • Must have an active application for a CU Denver global education program (Global Study, Semester, IPA) taking place during the same term as the scholarship application
  • Students are only eligible to receive the Global Education Scholarship once per academic year.
  • Students are only eligible to receive the Global Education Scholarship if they do NOT receive the World Within Your Reach Scholarship for the same term.
Note: Students participating on the RMI Program to England and CHA/PA Program to Guatemala are not eligible to receive this scholarship. Additionally, students traveling abroad independently for credit or with an approved third party program are not eligible to receive this scholarship.
